Great guide to Reading in all subjects!

Daniels and Zemelman use humor, practical suggestions, and research to get their point across. If you are looking for NCA or NCLB interventions for improving reading in a specific or all content areas, this book has plenty of material! They include examples, book lists, and classroom best practices as well as discussion of the use or non-use of a textbook. These practices are known quantities, research-supported and all have been used by the authors or by those interviewed for this book. Ta-da, it's all in here!

From the first chapter on I really enjoyed reading this book. The fact the authors are both educators allow them to include numerous anecdotes from their time spent inside and outside the classroom. Even though I am an English teacher I appreciated how this book covered all subjects.

Abu Hamid al-Ghazali (1058-1111) theologian, logician, jurist and mystic, was born and died at the town of Tus in Central Asia, but spent much of his life lecturing at Baghdad or leading the life of a wandering dervish. Life changing

I came across Al Ghazali's name by reading another book on Sufism. This is my first book I read from him and so far I am greatly impressed. As a Christian and spiritual searcher I have the theoretical aspects of my religion well established but I always fell short in the practical aspect of it. I don't mean the going to church or going through the empty rituals, I mean the nitty gritty spiritual work and closeness to God. Al Ghazali, peace be on him, has changed all that. This book has made me drastically change little by little my orientation in life towards what is important, the worship of God in a direct, singleminded devotion. He not only helps you find the hidden treasure in the field but impels you to " sell everything" so you can buy the field and acquire the treasure. His words hit you hard especially if they are accepted with humility and not with a mind ready to find faults in his teachings. He helps you move from the intellectual level of your religion, whichever it might be, to the true meaning of religion, a life lived "in" God and "through" God. This book, although written by a Sufi master, and although it expounds Islam, will bring a luminous clarity to any Christian serious enough in their search for God. It's really a jewel and I cannot recommend it enough. If you are a Muslim this book is a most have in your library. Praise and thanks to God for bringing this book to my life!

Was expecting a new book.

2 Stars for the condition of the book. I paid for a brand new book yet what arrived in the mail was a paperback with the front cover bent from the top; easily noticeable with a crease going across the front end to end.

Another thing I noticed right off the bat was the text of the book, it's not as crisp as other books ITS has published.

One of Hugh's best and hottest sexy transformation stories, this medium-length tale follows a gay boy with a wishing rock that grants wishes, but everyone out of earshot of the wish thinks the new situation is normal. In an interesting twist, Hugh ensures that *we readers* are also out of earshot of the wishes! Sometimes the boy tells us (and another character) what he wished, but sometimes we get to figure it out for ourselves from the colorful and detailed descriptions of the post-wish world. Some nice twists to the wishes, since the protagonist is also often surprised at the effect his wishes have had on the world, so we get to explore along with him as we all figure out what's happened. An top-notch outing from the ever-excellent Hugh Michelsen. Major themes: muscle, size, and bondage & humil.

Great Story, Awesome Buy

This was an awesome story, which truly serves as entertainment and enjoyment. Previous reviews have given amazing descriptions, so I won't waste your time with that. I was hesitant to buy this book initially because I had read a rough copy online, and didn't want to "waste" my money buying something I had already read. However, I broke down and bought it, and I could not be happier. While the basic underlying story is the same, the completed version is leagues ahead of the rough draft available online.

I found this story to be quirky and fun. It would've been 5 stars if not for the switching if names a couple of times. But this was funny and enjoyable.

STOP! Don't Skip This One

This is the best book by Richard Dotts. In fact, this is the best self help book on manifestations I've ever read. I didn't read it at first, I chose a few of the author's other books before this one because I thought it was ONLY about how to manifest money. It is not. It is about the "inner state" of being. I wanted to know what to focus my thoughts on the majority of my day and how to do it. I needed help with the abandonment of negative thoughts. Dotts provides the best explanation I've ever come across. I am so glad that for some reason I decided to read this after initially thinking I wouldn't be interested in it.

Also check out 95-5 by this author and Becoming Magic by Genevieve Davis.

My favorite Dotts so far!

I have read so many books on manifestation it's not even funny. This book was so timely for my "listening" that I'm re-reading it and will likely re-read it again. Why? Because this book is like a meditation—my "vibration" and "focus" shifts while I'm reading what Richard wrote. We are always looking for the "right way" or the "how-to" to make our lives better, get what we want, etc. to the point where we're so busy "trying" that we get in our own way. This book really helped me connect with the path of least resistance and allow my goodness to flow. Thank you, Richard! I'm a fan. My favorite of your books so far.

The ONE I needed!

I had read a couple of Richard Dotts books in the past, but they didn't really click with me. THIS ONE DID! It has what I was looking for all along. It is explained easily and makes sense to my brain. I knew this kind of information was just sort of floating around in the ethers waiting for me to latch onto it, and I did with this book. This book makes it easy to quit worrying. It makes it easy for goodness (and money) to flow in. Buy it. Read it. Do it. Very easy for all of those steps.

Absolutely NO hard visualizations or repeated affirmations. No writing things down and making a journal. No crying about things in the past. If you've read many, many books on abundance and manifestation (like I have) and still feel like you don't have the answer, this is the one to buy.
