About the Author
Peter Fotis Kapnistos is a Greek American journalist, editor, and publisher residing in the Eastern Mediterranean islands. Peter was editor for the “Athens News,” Greece’s oldest English-language daily newspaper. In cooperation with the Associated Press and Apple computers, Peter oversaw the making of “Greece Today,” one of the first direct online English-language desktop published tabloids in the Near East. Peter helped to introduce public access to the Internet in the east Aegean islands by establishing a number of Internet cafes there. Peter Fotis Kapnistos worked under Professor Spyridon Marinatos, the archaeologist who excavated the ruins of Akrotiri on the island of Thera (Santorini). Peter was the assistant of Spiros Tsavdaroglou, an administrative photographer for the National Archaeological Museum of Greece. Peter also assisted the team that photographed the royal tomb of Philip II of Macedon, father of Alexander the Great, discovered in the 1980s by the archaeologist Manolis Andronicus.
Extracts of this report (from Peter’s BlackRaiser website) were referred to in A.J. Hartley’s “The Mask of Atreus” (2006). New York Times bestselling novelist A.J. Step Into the Hidden Side of History...

This is a 545 pg. read- so it's quite a big book (with very nice production values), which means there's a lot of information here.
This book comes on the heels of "Hitler in Argentina: The Documented Truth of Hitler's Escape from Berlin" (Harry Cooper), "Hunting Hitler: New Scientific Evidence That Hitler Escaped Nazi Germany" (Jerome Corsi), and a couple others; and hit before the new History Channel series "Hunting Hitler." So, it is a hot subject right now.
Though it has long been rumored that Hitler used doubles, the full extent of that has never been documented. In combination with the liklihood that Hitler did not die in that bunker, starts getting into territory where most people don't feel comfortable. I remember hearing back in the 1970s that Hitler escaped from Germany and went to South America. But most people attribute talk like that as conspiracy theory. However, people that feel that way are usually people who don't understand history, and their mindset stems from the worldview they get from their High School history class. Believe me, public education does not teach you the truth of what has really happened in history. What you see in history books has nothing to do with what really happened behind the scenes.
After "Hitler's Doubles" fills you in on the 'doubles,' it then starts giving you background on the Nazi war machine, and delves into the occult aspects, the technology that gave them an edge, military motives and gives you a foundation of what was going on in Germany at that time. The author also gives you some biographical background on Hitler that gives you a high-level view that goes far beyond what you've been told in history class. So, you begin to get more of a feel for Hitler's motives and what he was planning to do; and why the Nazis were going to South America.
To believe that it wasn't Hitler's body that was photographed and then burned, becomes a whole lot easier to accept after the author makes a step-by-step presentation about the powers that be in this world that have actually controlled world events. When you see their handywork in the creation of the Federal Reserve, and later the United Nations, and what they are actually positioned to do; then you start getting a feel of what could actually be possible. If you're not familiar with the hidden side of history, this book is a historic tour-de-force. Being the author of a book about one-world government, I've researched the subject for 40 years; but for someone who has never been exposed to the truth, it will be shocking to learn what you will read here. I love the little rabbit-trails that gives you more background material that helps you understand the subject as a whole. In that regard, it's kind of a fun book because it's so overwhelming, and you just don't know where the author is going to go next. It is hard to put down because of that.
The only negative here, is something I've been guilty of myself. Because Mr. Kapnistos presents so much information, there's a couple places where information is duplicated, and could have been organized a little better. However, there's just so much here, that it negates that little oversight. For all the research I've done, I found plenty of gems here that I did not know.
This book will blow your mind and give you a more indepth perspective of various historical events. So, if you're ready to go down the rabbit hole, you won't go wrong with this book.

A Very Confusing Book.

This book is poorly organized. approximately 1/4 actually deals with Hitler's Double's. The rest is a random assortment of information. which has little to do with the main subject. It is often repetitive. Also injected, are pieces of a fictional narrative which is confusing. There are no definite chapters. I have the feeling that the author realized that the book is confusing because he offers a summary at the end about each double. The information regarding the doubles is very good. However, the evidence is very persuasive that Hitler did escape.
